Transformers Sound Effects Download Wavosaur
First, you need to convert text to voice. Sure, you could make your own recordings, but robots don't start with human sounds.
I really like the Room Machine 844, it does a considerably better job than the program I was using before. Tweaking the knobs to get just the right sound takes a while but the results are worth it. Wavosaur audio editor 1.0.3.0 Wavosaur is a free and efficient audio editor for Windows: do digital audio editing and recording, add VST effects, repair and clean your audio, perform various operations with audio data, change sound in real time, masters your track, process your sounds with VST effects in real-time - easy to use interface will get you started running. 1) Azurite multi voice chorus VST. Azurite chorus VST. This great chorus can work on many type of sources: guitar, voice, etc. It works nicely for voice, it's not too hard/harsh and does a good job on mono inputs for spreading voices and give a stereo effect. Information & download.
They start with computer sounds. So, go and change the voice to 'Mike. Now type in the words you want your robot to say. For my first one typed 'Hello Master Ryan.
How may I assist you.' Now click on 'SPEAK'. If you like the results, click 'Back' in your browser, and then select 'DOWNLOAD' instead. Save the file with a unique name. I used 'hellomasterryan.wav'.
Note: You might have to tweak it to get it to sound the way you want. For example, I spelled my name as 'rie an' to get it to sound the way I wanted. Step 2: Get Audacity, a Free Audio Editing Program. Open up Audacity, and use the File menu to select 'Open'.
Navigate to the file you just saved and then open it. Here's where the real action is! Throughout the following steps you'll need to make sure that the whole audio file is selected by pressing CTRL+A. 1) Select the whole audio file.
Use CTRL+A (hold down control and press the 'A' key) 2) Click on 'Effect' in the menu bar, and select 'Change Pitch.' 3) Change the pitch -14%, and click OK.
4) In the Effect menu, choose 'Echo' 5) Change 'Delay time' to.015 and 'Decay Factor' to.65. 6) Again in the Effect menu, choose 'Change Tempo.' 7) Decrease the tempo by 10% (-10.000) and click OK 8) Repeat steps 4 and 5 Now play your robot voice with the green 'Play' button toward the top.
Isn't it amazing? Last but not least, click on 'File' and then 'Export as WAV.'
And save it wherever you like. Step 4: Make Voices for Your Whole Robot Army! I've attached a zip file of the robot voices I made as a windows theme for my PC. Its customized to me, but it will give you an idea of what you can do. Here are some creative ideas: - Change your friend/coworker/mate/buddy's computer startup to say something like 'This computer will self destruct in 10 seconds' - Making a real robot?

Use these files to make it 'talk' to you. Have imaginary conversations with your new robot friends - Use a 'record your own' style greeting card and use your robot underlings to record the message. Your geek friends will love it! - Leave mysterious voice mails in robot voices.
Really the uses are endless.

Other Online Solutions. A few years back I started on a project to replace the original rock soundtrack with an electronic soundtrack I probably got about a fifth of the way through before I got a bit burnt out on the project as it was quite tedious work. I wanted to keep as much dialogue as possible and sound effects but at the time I couldn't find a copy of the movie with split audio streams.
So I was going through and manually lowering the volume between dialogue, between words and sometimes during words! Sometimes manipulating the bass/mid/treble to try and remove as much of the old soundtrack whilst keeping the speech. If I couldn't do this with sound effects I would replace them with sound effects from one of the transformers series. This will give you an idea of what I mean I want to finish the project!
But I wanted to see if the people of could possibly help me source an audio stream with just the dialogue (sound effects would be an added bonus). Is there a 5.1 mix with properly split audio streams? Or anything along those lines? Audio guy here! I highly doubt you'd be able to find the sfx audio stem with the 5.1 mix of the movie, but from what I know about 5.1, many movies that are mixed in surround sound have the dialogue track placed by itself in the center.
Not saying that that's how the 1986 Transformers movie was mixed, but as far as the dialogue goes, its not out of the realm of possibilities. If anybody here's got the 5.1 version of the movie, and is willing to throw it in their blu-ray and unplug their center speaker to see if the dialogue disappears, you could have an answer. As far as the sound effects go, there are some mixing tricks you could try like phase cancellation or something like Izotope's RX2 spectral editing if you want to try and get every single sound effect out one at a time.
The major TF sound effects can be found with a little googling, but I'd advise against trying to replace them. There will (most likely) be a very noticeable difference in the quality of what you can replace and what you can't. All that being said, it sounds like a really cool project. I'm not sure of your level of audio skills, and I hope I'm not telling you stuff you already know, but feel free to PM me if you have any questions. Thanks for the response.
I'm not much into audio, I'd say my skills are pretty basic. I've just been using adobe audition nothing too fancy.
I'll have to check out RX2 spectral editing. How hard is the process? If its reasonably easy (and quick) do you think it'd work well for picking the speech out too? You've pretty much hit the nail on the head with what I'm hoping for with the 5.1 audio streams. I d/led a torrent awhile back that was supposedly 5.1 but it was just stereo spread over the streams (might have been how it was ripped and encoded, not sure.) Even if there's a proper 5.1 but it isn't neatly split into 1 channel speech, 1 channel sfx, etc. It'll be easier to pull them out of their respective channels without having to battle as much extraneous audio - I'd hope. Sorry for the late reply.
If you're new to audio processing, I'd advise against going with RX2. It's a pretty involved program, but there's quite a few videos on youtube about the many things it can do with some instruction if you want to try and tackle it.
I think your best bet it to download audacity. It's a free audio editor, and it has many more tools than a video editor that would help you get better results. Take the whole hour and a half of audio (Ideally, from the stereo mix) and load it up into audacity, and work on it as one big project. You won't be able to see the video while you do it, but that's a good thing. Use your ears! I'm willing to bet you know the movie well enough to know whats going on from just hearing a random part of the sound.

The EQ is your friend, Use it do lower (cut) the volume of the music as much as you can (this will mostly be more effective then boosting) while trying to maintain the sound you want to save. You were on the right track by cutting out as much of the music as you can while leaving the sounds in place.
The best tip I can give you is to remove as much of the Lows/Bass as you can until you notice the sound effect or dialogue you're trying to 'pull out' starts to get degraded (starts sounding 'hollow' or 'thin'). When EQing the music out, you'll most likely be EQing out some of the sound you're trying to save as well, but that can't be helped. I noticed that the mixers tended to lower the volume of the music when there was important dialogue happening, so those parts shouldn't give you too much trouble. It'll be a long process, but when you're done, you can replace the music as many times as you want with whatever you want!
How To Use Wavosaur
I don't log into reddit all that often, but feel free to message me if you have any questions during the project, I'd be happy to help if I can! The folks over at or might be able to help as well. Tl,dr: probably shouldn't get RX2, download audacity, the audio won't be perfect, don't give up, Good luck!
