If you want more information, you can check out his website at: So thanks to the great Znuff well he rocks and Ohhh yeahh see ya! OMG this worked perfect! F.ck all those other people who say this cannot be done and you have to use the mic boost in your hardware's software (which I obviously don't have) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! 8-26-15 OldTruck added: WOW. I'll say it again, WOW.
It didn't work for me until I changed 'Preamp: 0 dB' to 'Preamp: 50 dB', and then it was like magic. Suddenly I had a LOT more volume, so much more that I moved the dB value down to 30. In my Win7, because of the build number, the 'enhancements' tab was missing from 'speakers properties' and I was stymied as to how to get my speaker volume up to something hearable (in my research, I saw a lot of people whose Win7 has the same problem).
Netflix was usually fine, but YouTube was almost unusable. All the fixes I had tried to get the enhancements tab to appear had failed, and I was about ready to buy some hardware to fix my problem. THANKS A LOT!!!
