On the list it says that Imperialism 2 will play on win 10 but On the GOG Community site it definitely says that it does not work. I have the GOG version and it does not work. I have win 10 pro 64 with amd fx4300 processor ATI AMD Radeon R7 200 Series (ATI AIB) with 16 gig of memory if anyone has any ideas please let me know. If anybody is interested both spellforce platinum and spellforce 2 work as does Morrowind GOTY but you need to mod it with mgso 3 and morrowind code patch 2.1 for it to work properly.
I went straight to 1.03 for Imperialism 2 - don’t bother with the earlier patches. Worked fine for me under win7 64 - no compatibility mucking about required. I kept getting this error, but I was finally able to run the game after 'Good Old Games' tech support helped me! Here is what they said: - Hello Please open the Control Panel (you can do it by using WinKey+X key combination) go to Programs Programs and Features, click the Turn Windows features on or off link, find the Legacy components on the list, enable DirectPlay and click OK to install it. If the issue persits, please download the archive from here: double-click to open it, select all the files in the archive, right-click them and choose to Copy.
